How many credits are required to complete the master's degree?
30 credits or 10 courses are required.

How many credits are required for a certificate?
15 credits or 5 courses are required.

If I am working full-time, will classes still be accessible for me?
Yes, many classes are online and on campus classes are offered at times that are convenient for working students.

What kind of jobs will this degree lead to?
Possible employers include service supported elder housing facilities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, adult day care agencies, home care agencies, councils on aging, and senior centers. In addition, the private sector is increasingly targeting its services and products to an aging population and many will be looking for employees with an understanding of this population.

Since I am not very skilled with computers, will I have problems taking classes online?
No, it is really very easy to master online classes, and instructors are happy to assist students who have concerns and are doing this for the first time. Also, many other students will also be doing this for the first time.

How will I get to know my colleagues and other students?
There will be several events held throughout the year to bring students together. Also, even the online classes will make opportunities for interested students to meet in person.

If I obtain a certificate in the Management of Aging Services Program and then want to go on to a master’s, will my certificate courses count?
Yes, they will.

How many semesters are there and when can I enroll?
There are three semesters, fall, spring, and summer, and you can enroll at the start of any semester.
