Information for Authors
The Journal of Aging & Social Policy is a peer-reviewed quarterly with editorial offices at the Gerontology Institute and published by The Haworth Press, Inc. Manuscript Preparation
The length of articles for the Journal is 20 double-spaced pages (1” margins, 12-pt type.) Exhibits and reference list are included in the 20 pages and should be appended to the text pages, not inserted in text. Commentary articles (in which authors develop opinions on aging issues) usually run about 10 pages. The Journal follows the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (latest edition).
Please include the following information on the title page of the manuscript:
- Full authorship
- An Abstract of about 100 words
- Five or six keywords that identify article content
- An introductory footnote with authors’ academic degrees, professional titles, affiliations, mailing and e-mail addresses, and any desired acknowledgement of research support or other credit
